1) Can I email/mail/fax/carrier pigeon my screenplay and a check instead of using the online system?
No, you cannot. We do things online to streamline the process. If you have technical challenges creating PDF files, keep reading!
2) Can I send you a Final Draft/Movie Magic/Celtx/Word/plain text file instead of a PDF?
No. PDFs are the most common file format that all of our readers have access to. They are volunteers whom we are truly blessed to have as a part of the contest team. Asking them to support anything other than PDFs is not in our plans, ever. Trouble creating PDFs? Read on...
3) How do I create a PDF file from Final Draft/Movie Magic/Celtx/Word ?
Screenwriting software generally has a way to save a screenplay as a PDF. Googling yields more results than we can fit here. if you are using a Mac, the standard print dialog box has an option to save a (print formatted) file as a PDF. Word users on a PC might have to dig a bit deeper for answers, if you have a tip to share send it to tech@csncontest.org!
4) I have a PC, use Word, and have been digging for a PDF solution that does not break the bank. Help!
